I was in the first platoon of Bravo company.  I served in "B" Co. from June 24 to Dec 1969 when I was wounded the second time and got my ticket punched for home.  When I got to RVN I was a replacement for the guys lost in the May battle.  I was in the first squad.  First I was a compass man, then a point man, then a machine gunner with the gun squad.

Mark: "I can't remember the name of the guy on the left.  I am going to have to get together with some of the guys at the reunion and see if we can fill in the gaps of my memory.  I am on the right.  This was taken at Mary Lou during the standdown we had before being flown over to LZ North English."

This is the scout that was with the first Platoon and Jim Rice. I can't remember the scout's name. Photo was taken in the An Loa valley.

Ron Mcinney, Jim Rice, and Tom Laroe.  This photo was taken in the An loa valley the night we all went swimming and getting cleaned up in the river that ran thru the valley.

Jim Rice and a local girl.  We were at the Kontum River bridge.
